Description: To be counted among the top steak houses in the City of London, a venue must demonstrate an obsessive commitment to quality at every stage, and this is where Temper excels. This is where Temper shines. The procedure is clear and impressive: it starts with finding rare-breed beef of the highest quality, continues with the visible on-site butchery where the meat is dry-aged to perfection, and ends over the embers of a huge fire pit. This basic cooking method gives the meat a smokey, very tasty crust that is better than what you can get with regular grilling.
The chefs are not simply cooks; they are also masters of the flame, knowing all the little things that make each steak perfect. While many restaurants serve good steak, Temper's fanatical, fire-focused approach to the entire process, from butchery to plate, places it in the absolute top tier of its category.
