If you are looking for an Osteopathy in Gold Coast, then contact Swell Osteopathy. Osteopathy is a hands-on manual therapy that focuses on the musculoskeletal system and its relationship to overall health. Osteopathy was founded in 1874 by Dr A. T. Still – an American physician and surgeon - after identifying that many of the medical interventions being used at the time were not garnering the best results for patients. He had made the comparison that the body was much like a machine, if all the parts were in working order then the whole could function properly. There are four key principles that provide the basis of osteopathic rationale: - The body is a unit. - The body is capable of self-regulation, self-healing and health maintenance. -Structure and function are reciprocally inter-related. -Rational treatment is based upon an understanding of the above. https://goo.gl/maps/FrjVi1zk5RWpszN89
