Smoke in the Mountains is about real BBQ, cooking meats over long periods of time at low temperatures. We use only wood and charcoal to produce that true southern flavor of real bbq. The team cooks with an indirect offset smoker that was welded and built by Tommy and Mark Ray. We compete on the KCBS circuit where we have had a very successful first year, including two first place categories and one overall reserve grand championship. We cook chicken, ribs, pork and brisket at competitions.
