Description: Sleek, founded in 2017 by entrepreneurs Julien Labruyere and Adrien Barthel, is a comprehensive digital platform designed to support entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in efficiently managing their business operations. Recognizing the challenges faced by business owners in juggling various siloed functions such as company secretary, bookkeeping, banking, tax, payroll, employment services, insurance, and more, Sleek was developed as a solution to consolidate these essential services into one seamless platform. Its services are aimed at removing the back-office hassle, allowing entrepreneurs to concentrate on growing their business.
Sleek's broader strategy is to expand its technological and product development, increase its workforce, and extend its reach into new markets, including Australia and the U.K., further solidifying its global presence. With the acquisition of Ltd Companies, a U.K.-based incorporation management company, Sleek aims to build an operating system for U.K.-based SMEs, adding to its already significant footprint in Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, the Philippines, and the U.K.
Sleek's innovative approach has led to the development of products like the Sleek Business Account, which simplifies the process of opening bank accounts for SMEs, enabling them to start transactions quickly and efficiently through the Sleek app. This initiative represents a significant step towards reducing the administrative burden on businesses, providing them with more time to focus on their core activities.
In addition to its financial services, Sleek has shown a strong commitment to corporate social responsibility, launching a sustainability initiative in 2019 aimed at scaling up its impact on the world and its community. This initiative underscores Sleek's dedication not only to business efficiency but also to contributing positively to society and the environment.
Entrepreneurs Julien Labruyere and Adrien Barthel, with their extensive experience in sales, management, and the eCommerce space, have steered Sleek towards its mission of being the go-to platform for business owners seeking to minimize back-office distractions. Their leadership has cultivated a culture of innovation and customer-centric service, as evidenced by the positive feedback from clients who have experienced significant benefits from Sleek's all-in-one solution for administrative tasks.
