The Oregon Garden Fire Safety House is a joint project between The Oregon Garden Foundation, Moonstone Garden Management Inc., the Oregon Department of Forestry, the Oregon Office of State Fire Marshal, and Oregon State University. When completed in the summer of 2011, it will be the first full-scale fire prevention and safety house in the nation. The house will feature fire resistant landscaping and building construction on the outside and home fire prevention and safety on the inside.
