For the past 6 generations, the Moore family has been proudly producing pure maple syrup and other maple products. Our original sugar house was located in the woods, about a half mile from the road. Sap was collected in buckets, transferred to a large horse-drawn wooden tub, and then taken to the sugar house for syrup production. In 1973, the “Sugar Shack” was created as a way to help educate other on the process of making maple syrup. Then in 1986, the “Pancake House” opened for its first season of our thin all-you-can-eat buttermilk pancakes! Our Pancake House is decorated with our family and friend’s antique including our great-great-great grandfather’s oxen yoke to our close friend’s car foot warmer and syrup containers.
