Made in the Shade is a lawn maintenance and landscaping company based in Lakeland, Florida, founded by Eric Sheetz in 1997. Over more than two decades, the company has worked on residential and commercial properties across the Lakeland area — mowing, weed control, sod and mulch installation, tree work, full landscape design, and more. For landscaping projects, they use AutoCAD renderings so clients can see what a design looks like on paper before anything gets planted or built. The company has been voted Lakeland's Best Landscaping Company three years running, picked up a Best of 2016 nod from Thumbtack, and is affiliated with LawnStarter. Reviews on Google, Thumbtack, and Yelp back it up. On top of the core lawn and landscape services, they also do Christmas light installation and pressure washing. Free estimates are on offer, no obligation. For homeowners wanting their yard sorted without the back-and-forth, or commercial managers needing reliable crews on a regular schedule, Made in the Shade has been the go-to in Lakeland for a long time.
