Kosebasi serves you authentic Turkish cuisine from the Mediterranean town of Tarsus in Southern Anatolia, which is particularly well known for the speciality meat dishes and spices. The menu also features hot and cold mezzes, traditional Anatolian side dishes and regional breads.

All meat dishes are based on original recipes and require expertise and skill during the cooking process.
First, meat is separated into different cuts. In order to achieve the required level of flavour, moisture and texture, pieces from the different cuts are then selected, mixed, hang-ground and seasoned before being grilled on skewers over the open charcoal grill.

The first Kosebasi opened in 1995 in Istanbul and instantly became renowned as one of the finest restaurants in Turkey. It was this popularity which then also led to Kosebasi's international expansion. All Kosebasi restaurants have an elegant and warm setting and the choice of tiles and colours are inspired by its Eastern Mediterranean origins; the casual atmosphere aims to ensure that guests feel at home.

Kosebasi is proud to have been listed in the "World's Top Restaurants" in 2010 by Zagat. it was also voted one of the "World's 50 Best Restaurants" by 14,000 members of Conde Nast Traveler Magazine as well as the "Best Representative of Traditional Turkish Cuisine" by the International Tourist, Hotel and Catering Industry.
