Fruitworks (Pty) Ltd was established in 2001 as a medium sized, trading company, focusing on the export of deciduous, citrus and vine fruits.

Family-owned, the business is underpinned by first hand knowledge of fruit production and strives to maintain a culture of excellence, in both service and product quality, with long associations on both supplier and customer side.

Fruitworks are also brand managers for a number of select suppliers, dealing exclusively with a single client in a given market. The company also has its own in- house brand that it owns, WOLFHEART, dating back to the 1940's when the owner's, grandfather packed and shipped to the UK market. This brand was revived by the founders and owners of Fruitworks, John and Ingrid Wolfaardt, in 1997, just after the deregulation of the South African fruit industry and is used on request.

All product sourced, including pack houses, meet international standards of good agricultural practices and are accredited with HACCP and BRC certification.
