Epicure Selections was founded in 1991 by Sylvie Rochette. The company was called Victorian Epicure and was mainly sold in craft fairs and local trade shows. In 1996 the company expanded and was changed to Epicure Selections.

In 1996 the company began selling the products to the general public in a direct sales capacity. Independent Consultants would hold tasting parties in consumer homes and display products this instantly became a success. Epicure Selections has 1,000 of Independent Consultants across Canada.
