About Dr. JJ – Naturopathic Doctor in Toronto
Dr. Jean-Jacques Dugoua, or Dr. JJ as he’s affectionately known, is a licensed naturopathic doctor in Toronto. Dr. JJ also holds a PhD in pharmaceutical sciences, which gives him a unique perspective on both the medical and naturopathic world. As a result, he's one of the few NDs in Canada who has worked on both sides of health care: in a Toronto naturopathic clinic and in a Western medicine hospital.
He practices at the Liberty Clinic and at Toronto Western Hospital, both in downtown Toronto. His clinic is at 600 Sherbourne Street, and he also offers virtual naturopathic consultations for patients who can't come in person.
His areas of special interest include infections, stress and anxiety, digestive issues, skin and hair conditions, fertility and pregnancy support, and cancer support. He also works with patients on sleep problems, detoxification, men's sexual health, anti-aging, and recovery before and after surgery.
As a naturopathic doctor in downtown Toronto, Dr. JJ offers a wide range of therapies. These include clinical nutrition, botanical medicine, acupuncture, biofeedback, intravenous infusion therapy, and more.
Testing plays a key role in his care. Through his work with Canada Diagnostics and IS Labs, he can use targeted lab work, like IgG food sensitivity testing, to identify what's driving your symptoms and build a plan around your results.
If you're looking for naturopathic medicine in Toronto that's grounded in science, Dr. JJ offers a thoughtful, evidence-informed approach to feeling your best.
