Coffee Bug has brought great coffee and associated services to the local community of Southport & Parkwood since 2000. For the past 8 years we have been located within the Griffith University precinct, taking care of the caffeine requirements for faculty, students, and visitors alike.
We are so excited to have the opportunity to now evolve and grow within the Gold Coast University Hospital. To be apart of this new era in Queensland Health services is beyond words for us to fully describe.
To bring our quick style of service to the GCUH staff, clients, and visitors is brilliant. We love it when you get to enjoy your break instead of waiting... like “forever”... just to get a coffee. We always strive to have a speedy turnaround even though lines are sometimes long our team does their utmost to get you back to what you want to do as quickly as possible.

"Coffee Bug Express" is a new name for us as we evolve and grow. We will always be dedicated to bringing you a great coffee beverage and associated products. We make no grand claims, I can only hope that, as in the past, our loyal customers let us know when we do great and also if we drop the ball by letting us know that as well.

So please, enjoy “Coffee Bug Express” as we open our new storefront at GCUH.
Please understand we have new team members and I ask for the short term you show these members a little patience as they learn and adapt to our system, they will have an overload of information to take onboard. They will do their best I’m sure but as always you come first.

“Coffee Bug” & “Coffee Bug Express” will always endeavour to bring you a "fair" price for your products.
I believe these things to be true:

1/ There is no such thing as "FREE" ... the “free” is always built into a product somewhere unless you’re a large company that can sustain constant loss.
As Coffee Bug Express’s CEO, I’d rather keep prices down thus allowing…
"ALL CUSTOMERS WIN”.

2/ Loyalty Cards hold everyone up... How many times have you been stuck behind that person who just can't find their loyalty card... frustrating right?
or the one who has six cards and wants them all onto one card so they can get that freebie… sound familiar?

We are about old fashioned service, fast friendly and fair priced, no hidden extra secret charges to cover a freebie.

The end result for you is to be served quicker, you get a drink or product quicker, and you get to have a longer break if you’re in a rush... WIN~WIN.
