Formerly the Yonka Signature Day Spa, Cinq Mondes Spa Paris Carmel re-opened its doors in December 2012. Embracing a traditional approach, Cinq Mondes Spa Paris embodies aromatic beauty recipes using indigenous flowers, herbs, fruits, spices and incense from traditional medicine plant pharmacopeias of the world. Each and every one of our rituals are an authentic mending treatment ceremony, which is executed in full respect of its traditional heritage.
OUR TEAM
CHANTAL, along with her high school sweetheart and husband PHILIPPE, is the partner/owner of the Cinq Mondes Spa Paris Carmel that is the first and official ambassador for Cinq Mondes Spa Paris in the United States. The spa has a private, serene ambiance. The spa offers head-to-toe treatments that nurture your skin, relax your mind and restore your inner balance. Offerings include facials, massage, hydrotherapy, Ayurvedic body care, and waxing.
Massage Therapist // KRISTIN is a healer of sorts. She is a skilled massage therapist, trained in everything under the sun! She is our go-to for lymphatic massage, as well as therapeautic treatments. Kristin is a listener, and has a way to make you comfortable and relaxed. Having been with us for over five years and a native of Carmel, she splits her time between Cinq Mondes Spa Paris and her beloved horses. We highly recommend booking your next massage with Kristin, ASAP!
Esthetician // ASHLEIGH transitioned over from Yonka, and has been with us for over four years. Her vast knowledge in skin care enables her to be a terrific asset to our team at Cinq Mondes Spa Paris. She is our resident "fast-waxer", as she has you in and out in minutes, hair free! An esthetician of eight years, Ashleigh is an excellent facialist, customizing each of her clients' skincare needs. When not in the treatment room, you can find Ashleigh gardening, running laps around Monterey, or dabbling in photography. Find yourself in dire need of some skincare TLC? Stylist & Make-Up Artist // YESENIA returns from Orange County where she built her career working with various models and celebrities for editorial photoshoots, fashion shows, and red carpet events. Yesenia brings her palette full of knowledge to our Cinq Mondes Spa Paris team, combining style with natural using our mineral makeup line La Bella Donna. Working with brides and wedding coordinators on the peninsula, Yesenia offers brides various packages to prep for the big day. Assistant Spa Director // MARISSA joined our team having moved from San Diego, and has fully embraced the spa industry and what it has to offer. She coordinates all Guest Relations and manages our beautiful facility, and is an excellent asset to our Cinq Mondes Spa Paris team in Carmel. Marissa is one of the smiling faces you see upon entering our spa, and strives to make your experience enjoyable.

Director of Operations & Development // KARINA grew up in London, returning to California, where she received her Bachelor's in Marketing and Design. Karina returned to Europe to complete her Masters in Business with an emphasis in Public Relations and Management, upon which she moved back to Southern California to begin her career in the spa and skincare industry. Karina joined our Cinq Mondes Spa Team last winter, and has been a huge asset in developing our Cinq Mondes Spa Paris family.
