Dr. Chela Altman earned her doctorate in dental surgery from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, CA. Upon graduating from UOP in 2003, she was elected into the Tau Kappa Omega dental honor society for her outstanding academic and clinical achievements. She graduated summa cum laude from Claremont McKenna College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.
Dr. Altman has been a colleague and worked with Dr. Dalwani for the past 17 years and they are both fellow alumni of the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry (UOP).
Over the past seventeen years, Dr. Chela Altman has focused on providing patients in Los Angeles with dental treatments and care that embody the holistic philosophy. Being a member of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology and as a SMART (Safe Mercury Amalgam Removal Technique) certified dentist, Dr. Altman has a thorough understanding of the importance of maintaining oral health and its relationship with your overall health and wellness.
Dr. Altman is a valuable addition to the Center of Holistic Dentistry, as she embodies the holistic philosophy that is the cornerstone of our practice. Dr. Altman understands the importance of maintaining your oral health and how it directly correlates to you overall systemic health. She practices meditation, maintains an active lifestyle, and has been a lifelong vegetarian. Her life philosophy of balance and health translates directly into her approach to holistic dentistry.
Dr. Altman creates a relaxing and comfortable environment in which she delivers her exceptional dental care to our patients. She excels in holistic, cosmetic and restorative dentistry. This coupled with her calm and friendly attitude create the perfect environment for patients to receive the best that dentistry has to offer.
Dr. Altman is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and the San Fernando Valley Dental Society. Dr. Altman continues to perfect her craft through continuing education and certifications at the World Clinical Laser Institute.
