So, my first restaurant job... 22 years ago, I was 15. Worked as a dishwasher at Candy M's Cafe in Lancaster, Ca. That is where the Chefs would teach me how to prep, so I was an unofficial prep cook. Loved that job until they went out of business. Then took a Culinary class at Desert Winds High School, where my coffee cheesecake was a hit with the faculty & staff. Followed by working at Del Taco. Those were my beginnings...

Then I became enslaved in the world of Sales & Customer service for the next 16 years, unhappy, stressed, etc. Until I decided to go back to my passion and go to Culinary school 3 years ago
