Bobacha's bubble tea concept store offers a totally new style of uniquely flavored tea based beverages and delicious munchies.

Bubble Tea is set to be the newest tea craze to hit our shores, with a huge following already in Chinatown NYC and throughout the USA, Australia, Canada and all of Asia. Bobacha will bring this cult drink into the heart of Chennai.

Originating in Taiwan in the eighties from a mere stall in Taipei’s night market, the drink has become so popular that there are now over 8000 Bubble Tea cafes alone in the country.

Served warm or cool, Bubble Tea drinks have a Jasmine green tea or Assam black tea base which are infused with delicious fruit flavourings, with the unique and hugely addictive addition of Tapioca pearls at the bottom. These Tapioca pearls – or “Boba” as affectionately termed - have an almost “gummy bear” texture, being zero fat with a delicious caramel undertone and become infused with the flavour of the tea itself.
