BioApply is a Swiss company founded in 2006 that develops sustainable packaging solutions to replace single-use plastics. With over 15 years of experience, it offers compostable, biodegradable, and reusable products tailored for industries such as retail, food service, and organic waste management. All products are made with at least 30% renewable content, are free from polyethylene, and are primarily produced in Europe. The company emphasizes full transparency and traceability throughout its production chain, holding certifications like OK COMPOST, OK HOME COMPOST, and OK BIOBASED. Its product innovations include TreeTote, a compostable wood-fiber alternative to cotton bags that uses significantly less water in production, and BioPaper, a renewable, grease- and moisture-resistant paper suitable for food contact. BioApply’s product range includes compostable shopping and organic waste bags, reusable totes and pouches, recyclable and compostable paper packaging, and sustainable isothermal solutions for temperature-sensitive logistics. The company’s mission is to reduce plastic waste by offering high-quality, certified alternatives that support a circular economy, with a strong focus on innovation, environmental responsibility, and product integrity.
