Arca South is more laidback with lots of open and sprawling spaces where the people can socialize and enjoy. A linear park and pocket parks were constructed for a quick respite, especially after a tiring day at work. There are also fitness and family parks that provide the much-needed breathing space for families, workers, and locators.
Additionally, Arca South features an urban promenade and central events area. The refreshing streetscapes are incomparable with the other areas in the metro unless they are also an ALI-developed estate.
In line with its sustainability philosophy, the master-plan was adjusted to accommodate the presence of old acacia trees. Altering the plan was the only option then by complementing the planned green spaces with what’s already there.
This allows the urban plan to nurture connections between the physical infrastructure and the surrounding greenery. About 60% of the estate is interspersed with green spaces, including streetscapes and public spaces.
