Madison's Community Based Art Gallery featuring fine art and affordable gifts.

WE HAVE A UNIQUE MISSION

Absolutely Art is a Community-Based Art Gallery. This is a business concept that includes employing people from the neighborhood, supporting local artists by purchasing their work outright, providing a family friendly environment and by producing profits to donate back into the community.

Here are some of the specifics of what we do:

-Feature original fine art and affordable gifts from over
200 local WI artists

-Hold regular Art Opening Receptions the first Friday of each month, where we introduce our new featured artists, and provide live music and delicious local food

-Provide a free arts and crafts booth for kids to enjoy at the Goodman Community Center’s Atwood Summerfest. A portion of our profits are donated to the GCC (when we have some to share!)

-Host The Re-Art Swap every year, redistributing art supplies among local artists
and our neighbors

-Sustain an active membership in Dane Buy Local (www.danebuylocal.com)
