The iconic Universal Wine Bar is home to outstanding Italian cuisine and premium wines, all served by a passionate and professional hospitality team. Located in the heart of Adelaide’s premier dining precinct, The Universal was established in 1990 by Michael Hill-Smith, Australia’s first Master of Wine. Under the custodianship of owner and host Vito Romano for the past 6 years, Universal Wine Bar continues to master the art of dining.

Inspired by our Italian heritage, Head Chef Antonio Alati has created an amazing regional and seasonal produce menu. Together with Vito Romano, they have created a unique dining experience offering over 200 local, national and international wines.
