The First, The Best, The Wurst since 1993!

The Best Wurst serves quality sausage sandwiches from one of Austin's smallest kitchens, a 4' x 5' kiosk, in the heart of Austin's 6th Street entertainment district.

Our wursts include bratwurst, a German style pork sausage, Italian, a Texas version of the New York style sausage, Jalapeño, made with pork and beef, and beef sausage. All of our sandwiches are served with grilled onions, sauerkraut, spicy mustard and curry ketchup. Our delicious salt potatoes are also available at special events.

The Best Wurst is happy to offer catering for your next event! We can come out to your event, complete with our cart, or call and ask about getting a party package. We’ll set you up with trays of sausages, buns and condiments, perfect for making your own sausage sandwiches.

Kiosk #2: 6th and Red River by El Sol y La Luna, Friday and Saturdays 8 to 3 AM and special occasions.

Kiosk #3: Draught House Pub & Brewery (4112 Medical Pkwy), open Mondays 6pm to 11pm
