Soup Cowboy is a Houston-based, family-owned boutique restaurant group that was formed in 2010 based on five key principles:

**Fresh, Real, Great-Tasting Food – Real food really tastes better, like nature made it. All of our soups, sandwiches, cookies, and breads are freshly-made using locally-sourced ingredients. There is no “second day” for our food. None of our foods are ever frozen, flown, or powdered.

**Health – The closer to home and fresher the ingredients, the better food is for one’s health. As “Fresh, Real Food”, we minimize or eliminate “fillers” that are meant to stretch food in terms of volume or shelf-life. We do have “Comfort Food” items, and for each item, we tell the guest the nutritional results of his or her choice.

**Environmental Engagement – All of our packaging is made of reusable recyclable, or recycled materials. To the extent possible, we use natural materials in our store furniture and fixtures.

**Value – We strive to deliver our high-quality menu at a reasonable cost to our guests, so that we are an every day luxury.

**Community – We donate all unsold food items to local charities at the end of each day. In addition, we donate 1% of pre-tax profit to local non-profit organizations.
