Seasoned Gardens was founded in 2012 to meet the need for ecological gardens within Southeast Virginia. Localizing food production and preserving our natural resources intimately connects people with their environment.
The firm specializes in the design of permaculture systems and urban food production systems, ranging from residential to commercial. Because respect for the natural environment is fundamental to garden design, we place a heavy emphasis on permaculture. Each design is personalized to match the needs of the client in conjunction with the needs of the environment. Our goal is for each client to develop a circular system on their site, where used resources return back to the environment to perform another useful function. We will work closely with our clients so they can produce food, energy, health, and happiness.
