Quan Bui Turns to Fine Dining
The team behind Quan Bui, the popular casual eatery on the north edge of District 1, has opened a four-floor fine-dining restaurant downtown. Located at 17A Ngo Van Nam, the new Quan Bui offers chic design and ambience, as well as a rooftop garden. The more up-market venue should attract a new following among the expat crowd.

Quan Bui specializes in Vietnamese cuisine from all regions of Vietnam; North, Central and South. We take great pride in trying to offer our customers a true taste of the vast array of Vietnamese dishes and ingredients, keeping freshness and authenticity in mind. We have a large clientele of both Vietnamese and foreign guests.

QUÁN BỤI - AUTHENTIC VIETNAMESE CUISINE

Quan Bui restaurant at 17 Ngo Van Nam (district 1) combines the best of Vietnamese food (authentically prepared) with tastes which excite the western palate as much as it does local preferences. Attractively presented and accurately described in the menu, you will find the dishes ample in quantity and interesting in the combinations of spices, herbs and sauces used. There is something for everyone – whether it is casseroled boneless chicken with soy sauce and vegetables or tofu cubes crisply fried with a wedge of lemon – washed down with delicious fruit smoothies or wine/beer.
The ambience of Quan Bui is probably one of the highlights of the city and should not be missed. Containing four floors in all, the restaurant boasts a leafy green roof garden and bar (great for snacks and drinks), a ground floor with spotlighted pictures of traditional Vietnam, an air conditioned floor with sophisticated décor and a third floor open to views of the French era terrace across the road. The earthenware pottery that graces your table is not only attractive – but for sale! Traditional designs of cups and bowls are on view to buy (an unusual but amusing feature).
The serving staff comprises a large team of people attentive to your every need. English is spoken as well as Vietnamese – and the cooking and waiting employees have a real aptitude for pleasing customers. There is a ‘family feeling’ about the place combined with an experience of the exotic and sophisticated Orient. Very reasonably priced (for a city centre location) - so you can afford to eat and drink well and enjoy yourself in groups or alone in a spacious, comfortable environment.
