We are an independent, Colorado restaurant with 6 locations in the Boulder-Denver area. We serve Mission-style Mexican with stocked bars for good times.

Illegal Pete's is a Mexican restaurant focused on serving great quality food in an atmosphere that celebrates individuality and relaxed human connection. While specializing in Mission-style burritos from San Francisco, our menu also offers other Mexican favorites, like taquitos and Baja-inspired fish tacos. In addition to great food, every location features a full bar complete with happy hour (3-8pm everyday). The Pete's philosophy is to become integrated in each neighborhood we inhabit, so for that reason you will often find live concerts, competitions and other events happening at our various locations. This one, located on South Broadway in the Baker neighborhood, is just inches from unique boutiques, the Mayan Theatre, and music venues like the Hi-Dive and Three Kings. Come stop by for a refreshing margarita on our patio, for a game of bocce ball, or just to say, "What up!" to your favorite burrito crew!
