Having opened our 1st outlet in Desa Pandan, Kuala Lumpur this August 2010, Eco Café specializes on our very own local Malaysian cuisine, food and drinks.
At Eco Café, we encourage healthy eating and healthy living. Healthy eating does not necessarily have to be purely organic. We find little ways to improvise our cooking techniques for e.g. we use pure ‘virgin coconut oil’ in our Nasi Lemak and all our dishes are served with fresh fruits and vegetables as accompaniment.
Our kitchen crew are trained to cook the healthy way which is; less oil, sugar and salt and strictly no MSG is added while cooking.
Freshly squeezed juices and fruit smoothies are our speciality. Most of the fruits and vegetables we use come directly from our own farms, and by that we ensure that it is organic and 100% pesticide free. We substitute pesticide and herbicide with Effective Microbes (EM- a cultured mixture of microorganisms consisting mainly of lactic acid bacteria, purple bacteria, and yeast) to prevent fungus and bacteria growth on our fruits and vegetables.
