Das Kaffeehaus

Stefan Zweig described the Viennese coffee house as "... a sort of democratic club, open to everyone for the price of a cheap cup of coffee, where every guest can sit for hours with this little offering, to talk, write, play cards, receive post, and above all consume an unlimited number of newspapers and journals." This is my goal and dream of what Das Kaffeehaus will become.

Das Kaffeehaus will be under construction and will hopefully be open in October of this year. Until that date this page will reveal pictures of the different construction phases leading up to the grand opening. I encourage each and everyone of you to share your insights and opinions as to what you would like to see in what I hope becomes a wonderful place for all of you to gather and socialize.
