Chez Patrick

Anyone who ever met our Chef Patrick Goubier, and heard him introduce his menu or talk about his dishes, would have immediately recognized how passionate he is about his cuisine. Well, don’t look further; it is his passion that brought together Patrick and a small group of friends and regular customers, all epicureans and gourmets, sharing the same love for good food and good wine.

They partnered with Patrick in business ventures and opened in 2006 Chez Patrick Restaurant, a French fine dining restaurant in Peel Street, Central. The idea was to transport diners in a typical Parisian apartment and offer them a true French experience. Ever since, Patrick gained a loyal clientele, and the restaurant became well renowned amongst French restaurants in Hong Kong.

After the success of the restaurant, we recently opened Chez Patrick Deli, a gourmet shop and bistro in Star Street, Wanchai. We wanted to open a retail shop, a French grocery that would allow our customers to take home a slice of the Chez Patrick experience, but also a casual place where they could enjoy the taste of France simple regional cuisine. Hence we decided to gather the two under one roof, a little like an “Epicier – Traiteur”.

With Hong Kong people becoming just as obsessed with food and eating out as the French are (and maybe even more), the culinary scene in Hong Kong has greatly evolved since we got started, creating always more opportunities. We hope to be part of this transformation.
