Transforming Public Education within a Generation of Students

If it takes a village to raise children, then it takes more than teachers to teach them and more than experts to educate them. Sustainable, transformational education reform requires input from more than just ivory tower academics, experts, and politicians. To that end, 20/20 Vision for Schools mobilizes grassroots business, faith-based, and other neighborhood institutions – what we call “Community Stakeholders” – to partner with public schools for meaningful advocacy and service.

20/20 Vision for Schools provides a framework for community leaders, students, and ordinary citizens to come alongside academics and experts and engage the issues of educational inequity – where the place of one’s birth and childhood dictates the quality of one’s education – in meaningful ways.
